Perhaps I missed it on the list, does Microsoft's SSE model have a role?
Or does the slow-change of the PDA makers make it less relevant?

Dear Krzysztof:
I think your mail was and is, most necessary so as to understand the
current state of PDA sync till today.
Regarding the present state, and regarding what the future might
bring, also regarding the limited resources of OSAF which has to be
allocated wisely regarding time/human resources (lets suppose one
person for a start), in which order would you allocate those resources
and which ones would you wait and see.
Also could be good if you could give an idea of how much would it take
(minimum) to develop those apps (in Alpha versions), and subjectively
if it is a one man show or needs more Human resources.
Which ones would you not do at least till 1.0 and which, strategically
would you consider best regarding early adopters of Chandler.
I know the answer is not easy, It has to do with user base
(installed), and futurology.
For example:
1) Palm OS (Treos) --> (7.0) --> three months for an Alpha version
3) Symbian (series 60) --> (7.5 - 8.0) --> 6 months for Alpha
2) Windows Mobile / Smart phones --> (8.5) --> 7 months minimum for Alpha
4) Palm OS (Zire and others) --> (1.0) -->
5) RIM (Research in Motion - Blackberries) Lets see what comes out of
the litigation they are up to in US Courts --> wait and see
6) Symbian (other series) --> wait and see
