A propos the "single URL" idea for a Cosmo share:

In general, this kind of "single URL" problem is relatively easy to
solve in a corporation (just give your Exchange server name and
everything else falls out...) but hard to solve in a federated system

So the answer boils down to: yes, for members a cohesive group that
has their calendars hosted in the same place, each person in that
group will be able to use a single Cosmo URL to find their own
calendar and those of the others in the group. Beyond that, sorry.
and may be that will be enough. IMHO it will cover a very common
scenario, namely, small groups of non super techy folks trying to
incorporate one new member in the group.
I'm not sure though if you meant that the 2 solutions are exclusive, i.e.:
- you have one single URL for the group, sharing is easy for all group
members but impossible with outsiders (short of granting them view on
everything and everyone as another group member)
*or*
- you have specific URL for each member, sharing is flexible within and
outside the group but incorporating a new member means having to
subscribe to a long list of shares (for the new member) and adding the
new guy to everyone else's list of shares
I really don't know WebDAV enough to draw my own conclusion here.
Cheers,
