Ubuntu | gnome-panel
Summary: display gets corrupted when mousing over icons
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-panel
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
QAContact: [email protected]
Right-click on the gnome panel, click 'add to panel' and then mouse-over the
"application launcher" and "custom application launcher" icons.
When I do than, the "n" in "applicatio*n* launcher" gets a bit wider, and the
"r" in "custom application launche*r*" becomes bold.
A few of the other icons get parts of their labels redrawn too, causing similar
corruption.
See the attached screenshots.
This is with the current dapper packages, and an application font setting of
"Sans 8". Changing the font size changes which icons suffer from the problem,
but doesn't fix it completely.
