Public bug reported: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/32286
Affects: gconf2 (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: Dapper Flight4: I have set up 2 panels one upon the other on top of the screen. One has my desktop and window switcher and the other has application menu, icons etc. After logging out and logging in again the panels are gone and there pops up an error message with sth. like: "There is already running one panel..." I can press only the OK button and will be left with a blank desktop without any panels. My guess is that it is GConf related cause there all settings are stored!? And this is not the first time that I have troubles with Gnome loading my settings. Seems GConf is VERY vulnerable to getting screwed up... I'd like to attach my zipped .gconf2 directory but I can't find an option here in Malone to attach sth. to a bug report... -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
