No, I don't think it's the same issue: The icons do not reach the border of the splash image, and in my case the splash screen *does* disappear, the session crashes afterwards... I actually just noticed that the crash does not only depend on the splash image from blubuntu-session-splashes, but also on the use of the ubuntustudio-theme. I.e.: Only combining the two leads to the crash, if I exchange the splash screen with the ubuntustudio splash screen it works. If I stay with the blubuntu splash screen but change the theme to the SphereCrystal theme it works as well... Does that make any sense to you?
