Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Description:
When a a non hidden folder is renamed so that it becomes hidden enter and
double left clicking no longer open that folder/file and instead do nothing.
This problem is only contained within that window, when a new window is created
this problem does not exist. However, Alt+Down arrow, single right click ->
Open, and Ctrl+L then typing in the path, still work.

How to reproduce:
This has only been tested in my home folder. Choose any folder that is not
hidden. Single Right Click -> Rename and add . to the begining making it
hidden, press enter.
