I dunno if this is the right package to file the bug against but https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage says this is it. This is on gutsy gibbon 7.10 tribe 2 updates till today. usplash version is 0.5.2 if that helps . On with the bug , after booting up, at the login screen (most probably GDM login screen, anyway to make sure?) anyways, I have installed 2 locales english & hindi as I wanna switch between the two. But now each time, the GDM login screen shows the hindi login screen & when I change I get this message :- Do you wish to make English (India) the default for future sessions. You have chosen English (India) for this session, but your default session is System default and get this 3 options :- Just for this Session Cancel Make Default 3 choices. Choosing Make Default sticks till you don't shutdown. You can logout & login many a times without issues and the choice is retained .
