Hello Sebastian, I have been out for a few days. After my upgrade from feisty to Gutsy I got the problem with GIMP but more and more applications were crashing. So I had to reinstall. I reinstalled the Tribe Live CD 2 and there was no problem with the gimp anymore. It could have been an upgrade problem.
