Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
Open a window, any window such as click Places>Home Folder Maximize this window Try to close the window by clicking the "X" in the top right (next to maximize and minimize) Instead of closing the active window, the window becomes de-selected and the title bar turns opaque indicating that the window is no longer the active window and the window remains open. The only way to close the window via the GUI is to right-click the window in the taskbar and select close OR right click the window and select unmaximize and only then, will you be able to use the "X" to close the window A side effect of the active window deselecting and not closing is that if there is another window directly behind the active window you are trying to close, often times, the window behind will close when you click "X" ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- maximized windows do not close when "X" is clicked https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/132116 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
