Well, I made some other tries. Now ekiga works. I disabled the "enable_preview" flag from /apps/ekiga/devices/video in the register. I guess it is set to true by default. At this point I think the problem depends by the gspcav driver I use for my webcam. Ekiga detects the webcam correctly but I can't view any image. If I try to re-configure or to use the webcam, the enable_preview flag becomes enabled and the program segfaults immediatly, so I can't start it again without manually disabling that flag from the register.
