Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
I've been using Ubuntu since 6.10 and still I can't work out how to make the icon view work on demand. Sometimes it just works. Sometimes it works if I just go into nautilus 'Edit > Preferences > Preview' and set 'Only for files smaller than' to something higher. But sometimes that doesn't seem to work. Always I get the icons if I open the directory with gThumb, but that should not be needed. So I don't know what's wrong/weak but something isn't working. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Binary package hint: nautilus I've been using Ubuntu since 6.10 and still I can't work out how to make the icon view work on demand. + + Sometimes it just works.
