Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor

For a couple of times, the CPU consuming time in my PC was almost 100%.
When I opened the System Monitor I saw that nothing was wrong, no
application seemed to be with high CPU usage. Then, I opened a terminal
and typed the 'top' command: there was 'gzip' application running at the
top of the list and using almost all of then CPU time.

Is there a situation that an application appears at 'top' list and not
appear at System Monitor list?

By the way, and pehaps it should be another issue, gzip appears to be
running without any direct access on it. But I'll try to repeat this
kind of situation to be more specific and then, if it is the case, I'll
report.

     Importance: Undecided
