You have been subscribed to a public bug: Binary package hint: vino
I have disabled remote desktop access in vino-preferences, but still something called "vino-session" (which doesn't have a manual page, btw) is started, and keeps on running in the background, every time I login. As far as I can see, it doesn't do anything but consume memory and an occasional CPU cycle, and I think it shouldn't be started/running at all unless remote desktop access is enabled. ** Affects: vino (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs Status: New -- When remote desktop access is disabled, vino-session will still run https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/141160 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
