RE - ViEVO not appearing on Ubuntu 704 linux. Thanks Jamie, all good !
I tried a fresh user account and it worked. So I blew away the .Koala directory on my account and re installed. And that worked. I found I could reproduce a version of the problem by choosing V4L rather than V4L2 driver in ViEVO's config. Difference is that now the ViEVO window appears so I can set V4L2. Its all good !
