Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libgtk2.0-dev
I am trying to build the program "nitrogen" from source, for use with Openbox. During ./configure, it gives an error indicating it needs libgtk2.0-dev. I have posted a thread on ubuntuforums.org to no avail of solution (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3436462). Here's what I'm getting: bobby:~$ sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-dev Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming.
