"gedit" seems to be the problem :
Made some tests.
Change the icon of an odt file on the desktop, modify the file with OpenOffice.
No problem.
Change the icon of a jpg file on the desktop, modify the file with Gimp. No
problem.
Change the icon of a txt file on the desktop, modify the file with nano. No
problem.
Change the icon of a txt and html file on the desktop, modify the files with
gedit. Icons become standard during ou just after the saving process.
The same things happen in any directory.
We got you "gedit", surrender ...
What happened to "gedit" between Edgy and Feisty (still here in Gutsy) ????
