Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
I'm testing gutsy d-i i386 20071009.1 on a few-years-old laptop with a 40G hard disk. After the install (whole disk, LVM, crypto) is completed I found that: If I move the mouse pointer into a Terminal window, and suddenly move it left, the terminal thinks that I'm trying to go into the scrollback and pages back about half a page. This kind of mouse gesture interpretation is very intrusive and annoying and should be disabled. Users need to be able to move the mouse to focus on different windows, etc., and particularly on laptops with trackpads where multiple strokes may be needed to get the pointer to the desired location. ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- scrollback gesture should be disabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/151325 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gnome-terminal in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
