Jérôme, it would have taken less time for you to reproduce the steps I gave, and see that the bug does indeed still happen, than it did for you to mark the bug report as Incomplete. If any part of those steps is unclear, let me know.
** Changed in: gnumeric (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed ** Description changed: - Gnumeric 1.6.3, Ubuntu Dapper + Gnumeric 1.6.3, Ubuntu 6.06; Gnumeric 1.7.11-1ubuntu3, Ubuntu 7.10 1. Enter some text in a cell. 2. Drag from one part of the text to another. What should happen: * The text between those two points should be selected. What actually happens: * The insertion point moves. Selection works properly in the formula bar, which then produces a misleading appearance in the cell, as it shows no selection but continues blinking its insertion point. -- Selecting text in a cell doesn't work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/38415 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
