Once more: Thank you! It works as it should, but at least should the installer check that all necessary element were in place. I use KDE, therefore Kubuntu, and install the packages I find interesting. I don't think of that a gnome package need other libraries and language pack than a kde package, that should be handled automatically. If I had been happy and got the gimp 2.4.1 compiled I think I would have got everything automatically?
