I just noticed this : if the cdrom if inserted before I log into Gnome (ie before I type my user/password in GDM), then it is mounted on the desktop...
Then I can eject it, but if I insert it again (while logged in Gnome), it won't be mounted. If I then log out from gnome, and log in again, CD will be mounted. Maybe it has something to do with wrong permissions ??? -- g-v-m fails to mount inserted cdroms https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/164474 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gnome-volume-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
