Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem
The standard error stream receives a steady trickle of error messages from Totem when viewing some videos. For example, LP bug #159130 contains a couple of example transcripts. According to upstream comments to LP bug #15027 (at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459293) the expectation of the gdm developers would be that standard error remains empty under most circumstances.
