Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
roughly....when I run synaptics package manager and switch to a different desktop, the panel at the top of the desktop I've switched to disapears. The desktop is not empty and still contains the package manager. If I click on the bottom panel several times, there is some weird effect like the wobble and desktops on a cube and i return to the original desktop. I am not running the wobble and desktops on a cube effect. I realise this may be a graphics issue and you do not support restricted drivers, but I though I'd tell you none the less.
