Firefox crashed for me in the same function. I see a few other bugs that have as well so I'm not sure if I should submit a new bug or if it's a dupe so I've attached the backtrace. I was changing the fonts in Appearance Preferences, which seemed to instigate the crash. I won't submit the bug report via the Apport util yet but have backed up the /var/crash report from it just in case it is a new bug.
