This has happened again today and last Saturday when I used Ekiga. It happens every time I use Ekiga for the first time after my PC has booted up. It seems to be very reproducible. Ekiga is fine after I kill Ekiga and restart it.
Has anyone else had this issue? (I am using CIF sized images by the way, I wonder if this makes any odds? Mind you, a friend of mine has the same Ekiga config on Gutsy and the same webcam and does NOT suffer this issue. Perhaps it is my PC hardware? Sound system/graphics card???)
