Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Hardy Alpha 3 latest Nautilus 2.21.6 won't run executable text files.

I have an executable text file I call rsyn on the desktop that runs
rsync against hardy daily build, downloads the md5 sum, does an MD5 sum,
and compares the two. On Feisty & Gutsy: select Places, Desktop, left
click twice on the executable, and it gives the expected option:

Do you want to run "rsyn" or display its contents?
and displays the following boxes:
Run in Terminal Display X Cancel Run
at which point I left click on the box Run in Terminal and away it goes.

On Hardy Alpha 3 Nautilus 2.21.6 gives this instead:

Couldn't display "/home/jerry/Desktop/rsyn".
There is no application for this file type.
There is no display of the Run in Terminal, etc. boxes.

Has the very handy Feisty Gutsy Nautilus function been removed on
purpose, or is it busted?

Thank you, Jerry
