Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
This may be related to Bug #187858. In the gnome-panel taskbar, the open windows may not be selected using the mouse as expected. The far left window (but only this one) may be selected. Additionally, the only window in the taskbar that responds as expected to hovering- the window bar appears "depressed" and when the mouse hover is taken off, the effect is remove- is the far left. About 5/6 of the distance across the far left window the hover behaviour ends; this may be indicative of something "getting in the way" of the mouse capture (?). If the mouse is hovered over on the far left window, additional windows can be selected by scrolling with the mouse wheel in the usual fashion. All active windows behave expected ways, apart from the selection bug. Additionally, all other windows can be selected using "Ring Switcher", "Alt-tab", "Shift-Switcher", etc in Compiz-fusion or Metacity. ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Taskbar does not allow for selection of minimised windows- only the far left one may be selected from it. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/187862 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
