Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

(I'm guessing gdm is the appropriate package, but it might be the
installer as well, or something completely different, like a larch.)

I just installed today's (or possibly yesterday's) daily build on an
amd64 machine. In the installer, I chose Finnish as my language and
locale. Booting into the installed system, gdm talks English, and after
I log in, the locale ($LANG) is set to C, not fi_FI.UTF-8.

(The md5sum of the ISO used for installation is
31df1ed91ea9f354297b9b0c15829198)

** Affects: gdm (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
