You have been subscribed to a public bug: Evolution seems to have disappeared from my current hardy install.
It still has a menu item (in Office) but when you select it you get a dialog box with "Could not launch menu item. Failed to executive child process "evolution" (no such file or directory)" Running it from the command line I get: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ evolution The program 'evolution' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing: sudo apt-get install evolution bash: evolution: command not found Looking in synaptic I have the following bits of evolution installed: evolution-common evolution-data-server evolution-data-server-common evolution-webcal libexchange-storage1.2-3 I don't have the main evolution program itself. Evolution-common etc is at version 2.21.91-0ubuntu1 ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [hardy] Evolution doesn't seem to be fully installed https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/193186 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
