Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gcalctool
I just accidentally maximized gcalctool. Slightly suprisingly that I could maximize it. Then I noticed the buttons all got bigger to fill the space. Also cool. Surprising again, but actually perhaps handy. What if I'm (partially) blind? Then I noticed that the font size of the buttons was still the same (size 12?) as when the calculator was a normal size window. It would be helpful, I think, that since the buttons already scale to fill the container size, why not also have the character font scale to fill the button size? If this is /not/ a desirable action, this could be added as an accessibility option. Merits: - this should be an easy fix, perhaps 30 minutes for someone new to the code, or 5 minutes for a regular maintainer. - another bonus for gcalctool. (Accessibility) - if done properly, should not bloat the binaries since font information is already compiled in or shared. Cool. P.S. Sorry if there's extra information attached to this bug.
