description is incomplete to help us solve the bug. Can you specify
which type of media files are you trying to play? If its non-free media
formats, can you check whether you have the necessary non-free plugins
installed. If you had them installed earlier, can you verify whether
they still exists and weren't removed during the update? You can check
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats to know more about
what non-free-plugins you need to play movies in your system. Thanks in
