Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

System is Hardy -- up to date.

In the system logs after a normal reboot, I see this message from gdm:
gdm[5020]: WARNING: main daemon: Got SIGABRT. Something went very wrong.
Going down!

Is a run-of-the-mill reboot really "something very wrong"? This can
mislead users into thinking something is wrong with their system.

** Affects: gdm (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
