Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

When printing a pdf file generated through LaTeX, the serif font (Type 1
URW Palladio) prints well, but the non-serif CM font (I believe it's
Type 3?) is very badly dithered, looking smudged and faint. I'm
printing on an HP Laserjet 2100 TN, and I get the same smudged effect
regardless of which driver I use. The same file printed with XPDF comes
out fine. On-screen display is not a problem.

Thanks,

Joe
