If I run System / Prefs / Remote Desktop Prefs and set 'Allow others to use your desktop / allow others to control your desktop' and 'ask you for confirmation' but NOT require the user to enter a password, then when I try to vnc from a remote PC, the local PC shows a blank window entitled 'Question'. Pressing enter or closing this window aborts the connection. If I require the user to enter a password, it asks for the password on the remote PC and then follows the same procedure as above. Obviously the question window should display some meaningful information and an OK/Cancel button. This is on Hardy alpha6 kernel 2.6.24-12-generic, vino 2.22.0-0ubuntu1. ** Affects: vino (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) Status: Incomplete -- [hardy] vino server shows blank confirmation screen https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/204080 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
