Public bug reported:

I am using Nautilus on up to date Hardy.
I can connect to an external hard drive that is
connected to another computer (with Ubuntu 7.10)
through the local network using sftp <username>@192.168.1.xxx.
However, after sometime (around 30min or so) the connection
freezes. I cannot unmount the volume.
I don't have this problem if I use the following command.
sudo mount 192.168.1.xxx:/media/<hardiskname> ~/extdisk

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
