Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
If I unmount the mp3 player Creative Zen Stone Plus clicking the device icon in Gnome desktop appears a windows that says that is impossibile to umount the volume "STONE PLUS" (but the device is really unmounted). I think that the problem is a bug of Nautilus handling spaces in mount points when it unmount devices: if I launch in console 'umount "/media/STONE PLUS"' no error window appears. Workaround. Create a file /etc/udev/rules.d/50-zen.rules ed add a line there like this: BUS=="scsi", SYSFS{model}=="ZEN_Stone_Plus_S", SYMLINK+="zen" Then, add a line in /etc/fstab: /dev/zen /media/zen vfat defaults, user, noauto 0 0 Nautilus 1:2.20.0-0ubuntu7 Ubuntu 7.10 ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Error unmount mp3 player Creative Zen Stone Plus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/218136 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
