Check that it is corectly typed and that it is correctly supported by your system $ lsb_release -rb: Description: Ubuntu 8.04 Release: 8.04 Please note that there is nothing wrong with the eth0 interface. All applications (network manager, ifconfig, even gnome-nettools!) SHOWS correct STATUS of eth0 (which is configured BTW). The only problem is, you CANNOT CONFIGURE interface using gnome-nettools. ** Affects: gnome-nettool (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- The Interface does not exist https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219144 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-nettool in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
