Obviously I'm using Hardy, as the title of the bug says. Here's the output of dmesg. The I/O errors look like saying that /dev/sdb1 cannot be read, and this is normal since the hard disk is on /dev/sdc now, as states mount: /dev/sdb1 on /media/WD Passport__ type fuseblk (rw,nosuid,nodev,noatime,allow_other,blksize=4096) /dev/sdc1 on /media/WD Passport___ type fuseblk (rw,nosuid,nodev,noatime,allow_other,blksize=4096) (I can only access the second)
I attach what hal-device reports about the hard disk (only the two first entries deal with it). ** Attachment added: "dmesg.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/13589118/dmesg.log -- [Hardy] After hibernate, removable drives appear twice with one invalid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219689 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
