Binary package hint: gnome-applets
In the attached screenshot there are two applets side by side.
Sometimes, after login, one of them is not displayed properly.
Otherwise, the applet works OK - tooltip is shown, menus work.
Moving a window over the problem area makes the applet area keep the
image of the window.
