Is there a way were the user can execute these applications after he/she
applies the 'Allow executing as a program' checkmark without having to
open the terminal and running ./foo.bin ?

For example, once the user applies the permissions with nautilus, he/she
can now just double click the file and the installer runs instead of
receiving the 'There is no application installed for this file type'
error? This way he/she wont have to be opening a terminal
