Sebastien, I can confirm that apport appears to be enabled and working.... Evolution just crashed for an unrelated issue and a bug report was generated / submitted. I believe I have the command to start apport, but I don't know the process name. If you give me the process name to look for I'll validate with ps that it is running.
That said, I made Evolution crash again (after apport worked successfully on the other bug) and can confirm that no report was available in /var/crash. Let me know what to do...
