I'm found that antialiasing of fonts does not work in GNOME Terminal. I'm try to set antialiasing of fonts via System - Preferences - Appearance -Fonts - Subpixel Smoothing (for LCD), and fonts smoothing very well in all applications, except GNOME Terminal. Fonts in it remain same, as well as before smoothing. In Gutsy Gibbon this option worked without problems. For example, here is screenshot of fonts in GNOME Terminal in Gutsy Gibbon (7.10) (after applying subpixel smoothing) http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/4730/gutsyqw7.png This is screenshot of fonts in GNOME Terminal in Hardy Heron (8.04) (after applying subpixel smoothing) http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/126/hardybt9.png ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- font antialiasing not working in GNOME Terminal https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/226551 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
