Hi,
I have a similar bug while trying to remove ekiga:

I tried to remove it from application->add/remove. It gave me lots of
"parse errors" similar to ones I pasted below. After running it for 20
minutes I killed the remove script. Later on when I try to do
distribution upgrade the software indicates that I need to fix the
partially removed ekiga and vinagre. So I ran sudo apt-get install -f in
a terminal and got the following:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  ekiga vinagre
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 2 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
2 not fully installed or removed.
After this operation, 18.1MB disk space will be freed.

The script has been running for 10 minutes now and it's still going and showing
more parser errors.

Thanks.
