You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I am on Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex which has both Gnome and Nautilus 2.23.3.
On the desktop when i try to change the place of a partition icon -i.e mounted
on /media- Nautilus is opening my home directory instead of changing the
partition's place.

This is not true for any directory or file, just the partition icons.
Also when you click these icons Nautilus is opening the right partition
directory as expected.

I searched the bug records but can't find any report for this. I am
sorry if it is a duplicate.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
