Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: file-roller

File Roller (Archive Manager), is somehow inacessible. Ubuntu does not
include, by default a shortcut in the Applicatons menu to access file-
roller, leaving the end user with no easy way to create in a graphical
way a zip file, or any other supported archive.

I propose that this can be resolved, placing a link called Archive
Manager, inApplications > Acessories menu. This can easily be done. This
will give the less experiencied user archive easy creation of an archive
. A shortcut when right clicked with tme mouse, and choosing, Create
Document > Zip file, would also be convenient.
