Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

The 1st nautilus window always opens on the 1st desktop even if my
current visible desktop is the second or any other. This is quite
irritating, I'd expect it to open on the current desktop, which it does
for every subsequent open.

I have this behavior every time when I log in freshly. I go to desktop,
say 2, and use Places to open the Personal folder. The window is opened
on desktop 1 instead of 2.

I'm running Hardy, updated. I've just one shell window on desktop 4 in
my session so that it's opening at startup, no nautilus windows are
automatically opened at logon.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
