You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I have a link on my desktop to a directory in a FAT32 partition. If I double
click this link when the partition is not mounted, I get the obvious dialog
which says "link is broken. move it to trash?".
Now if I just leave the dialog box for 5 seconds,
1. I get a another dialog box on top of it (and covering the previous one
completely), which says "you can stop this operation by clicking cancel" - Is
this really needed? even if it's needed it shouldn't cover the previous dialog.
2. the cancel button or the close button on that dialog doesn't work. (only way
to close it is to close the previous dialog)

recreatable: yes.
frequency: happens always under above conditions.
