Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

A very useful feature to have (Konquorer does this) is to allow for
wildcard filtering the address bar ("Go To" address). For example if you
have a folder with lots of files and you want to browse just a
particular pattern. E.g. say you are looking at /home/me/project that
has a big python project in it and I wanted to just see the .py files.
Then instead of just having "/home/me/project" in the goto bar I want to
put "/home/me/project/*.py" and Nautilus would only show the .py files.
More complex filters should allowed too, like
"/home/me/project/Project*Log*.py"
