Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus A very useful feature to have (Konquorer does this) is to allow for wildcard filtering the address bar ("Go To" address). For example if you have a folder with lots of files and you want to browse just a particular pattern. E.g. say you are looking at /home/me/project that has a big python project in it and I wanted to just see the .py files. Then instead of just having "/home/me/project" in the goto bar I want to put "/home/me/project/*.py" and Nautilus would only show the .py files. More complex filters should allowed too, like "/home/me/project/Project*Log*.py" ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Sep 22 11:04:34 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/nautilus Package: nautilus 1:2.22.3-0ubuntu2 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: nautilus Uname: Linux 2.6.24-19-server i686 ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Invalid ** Tags: apport-bug -- wildcards in nautilus goto bar https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/273166 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
