Public bug reported:

Description:
Nautilus does not show thumbnails for svgz images unless they are once opened
in Gimp (or maybe some other image editor)

How to reproduce:
Open a folder containing svgz images (in my case, it is the "scalable" folder
of oxygen icons"). There shall be no thumbnails for the images. Now open any of
the images in Gimp and then close gimp. Now reload the folder page. The images
that were opened in Gimp would show a thumbnail.

Screenshot:

In the image, the ones that were opened in gimp show thumbnails while
others don't.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
