I meant doing nothing other than turning the computer on and walking away while it goes through it's boot cycle. (about 1.5min on my thinkpad and p4 desktop ), then coming back to it after 5 or more minutes have elapsed, (this probably has something to do with the default screensaver function). Because it only happens if I wait long enough for the LCD to go to sleep. Again, like I said, it's not really a problem, it's just not all that flattering to the OS.
