Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: totem

I am brand new to Ubuntu, after years of Windows. I am slowly
configuring my newly-created Ubuntu desktop. When I try to play an mp4
that I have on a network server, I get "File is incomplete and cannot be
played." File plays fine in Windows. I saw post that said to run "sudo
apt-get install gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg." I did, and got message that I
have latest file versions.
